King v Burwell reaction as told by infomercials

The Gif Shop LogoThursday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a 6-3 opinion that determined the Affordable Care Act subsidies handed out in states that did not establish health insurance exchanges were constitutional. In doing so, the justices admittedly ignored the text of the law, effectively writing its own version of Obamacare.

Afterward, dissenting Associate Justice Antonin Scalia, Republican presidential candidates, and numerous conservative commentators blasted the ruling. The Weekly Standard says “it’s worse than you think.”

Realizing that for every bad deal, there’s an equally bad — or worse — infomercial, The .Gif Shop staff knew they couldn’t ignore this one.
