The Iowa Senate is scheduled to begin debate on education funding at 11:30 a.m. today. You may watch the debate live by clicking here. State Sen. Tod Bowman (D-Maquoketa) will lead the series of debates on all six education funding-related bills. Senators will debate the following bills today:
SF 171 — A bill for an act establishing the state percent of growth and including effective date provisions.
SF 172 — A bill for an act establishing the categorical state percent of growth and including effective date provisions.
SF 173 — A bill for an act relating to school district property tax replacement payments and including effective date provisions.
SF 174 — A bill for an act establishing the state percent of growth.
SF 175 — A bill for an act establishing the categorical state percent of growth.
SF 176 — A bill for an act relating to school district property tax replacement payments for certain budget years and including effective date provisions.
