Responding to a request from the senior government class at Urbandale High School, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has accepted an invitation to take part in the school’s Homecoming festivities this weekend.
After speaking at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Trump will take part in an invitation-only VIP event beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. That will be followed by a public rally at Frerichs Field — home of the Urbandale J-Hawks football team — beginning at 7 p.m. The rally is expected to last about 90 minutes.
