In addition to announcing her intention to attend Scandinavian Days in Story City and U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst’s Roast and Ride event at the Central Iowa Expo east of Boone, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina also announced her first endorsement of the Iowa Caucus campaign.

State Rep. Mike Sexton (R-Rockwell City) said, “Iowans need a leader like Carly as our nominee—a true conservative who can take on Hillary Clinton in the general election and can do the job when she gets there. I look forward to introducing Iowans to Carly over the next several months, and I’m confident they’ll recognize her unique voice in this race.”

Fiorina responded, “Mike will be an invaluable asset to our team, and I want to thank him for his trust and support. As a leader on agricultural issues and a small business owner with his wife, Mike knows that we need new leadership in the White House to unlock the potential of a lot of Iowans hurt by the policies and hypocrisy of this administration. I look forward to working with Mike to get our message out to Iowans.”

Her schedule for Saturday includes about an hour spent in Story City from 10:20 t0 11:30 a.m. She is slated to arrive at the Central Iowa Expo at approximately 1 p.m. She will speak on the stage at 2:38 p.m. A reception will follow in her tent.
