From Press Release

Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) issued the following statement to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the genocide against the Armenian people upon the breakup of the Ottoman Empire:

“The massacre of over one million people is a genocide the world must remember.  Memorializing this senseless slaughter must be a reminder to us that we cannot tolerate nor can we ignore atrocities in the World today.  Anniversaries like this solemn one must be used for good, to identify evil when it emerges, and support and defend those around the Globe who face violence at their door. Today we should all stand with Armenia and Armenians everywhere.”
